516 miles between fillups

Toyota said it has developed a new fuel cell hybrid,a green car powered by hydrogen and electricity,that can travel more than more than twice the distance--516 miles vs. 205 miles--of it's predecessor model without filling up.It will be available for leasing in Japan later this year.Pricing and other details weren't available,and overseas plans were still undecided,officials said.-----On the U.S. car scene,Ford said Mercury sales are likely to fall below it's Lincoln brand for the first time since Mercury's creation 70 years ago.Mercury is Ford's poorest performing division, but officials said they have no plans to sell or eliminate it.This followed 3 straight annual sales declines.
